The idea

Taking a break from big projects, I decided to have some fun with After Effects and update my skills after the new major updates. While ordering shoes on the Nike app, I noticed it looked very plain and lifeless, so I decided to change the "add to cart" functionality to be more interactive and user-friendly.

How did i make it

I enjoy bringing the ideas in my head to life on paper before moving on to any UI tool.

When I had a clear direction in mind, it was time to produce some high-fidelity assets for After Effects.

Starting the animation of the UI part according to the story on paper was both fun and challenging. For example, uniting the two dots (favorite and add to cart button) created some unexpected turbulence in the animation, but I ended up liking it, so I kept the effect.
